The CIS Excellence Awards recognise, reward and celebrate the exceptionally high degrees of creativity, innovation and excellence in the Scottish hospitality, catering and tourism sectors. This year, they have awarded us with The Independent Hotel of the Year Award.

Red star hotels represent the most outstanding examples of hotels in the UK, and we are proud to say that we have been awarded a 5 star rating by the AA for our staff, service, bedrooms, restaurant and presentation.

Achieving a Rosette is a huge achievement and is determined by a chef’s technique, flavour creation, and ingredient sourcing. Three Rosettes are awarded to restaurants that achieve standards that deserve national recognition and only 10% of AA Rosette awarded restaurants reach this standard or above.
