Introducing The Endeavour
Combining traditional baronial style with an abundance of modern luxuries, The Endeavour is a truly welcoming home from home which sits high above the West Coast of Scotland. Spanning across 420 square metres/4,500 square feet, this elegant four bedroom penthouse suite (accommodating up to 8 guests) is tucked away on its own floor, and is accessible through its very own private elevator. Watch the sunset and marvel at the stars whilst you take in the breath-taking views over the iconic Ailsa Craig, the Isle of Arran, and the Mull of Kintyre.
This sprawling, self-contained penthouse suite is home to four luxurious bedrooms each with their own magnificent bathroom plus a sauna, beauty & treatment room, library & games room, media room, period kitchen and a private dining area for up to 16 guests. A private rooftop terrace offers you 360 degree views of the estate and coastline. Your very own private Chef and Personal Butler make it the perfect space for feasting and fun with family and friends.
History and splendour
Glenapp’s rich and storied history is reflected throughout the castle. Over the last 150 years, merchants, aristocrats and philanthropists have all called this beautiful castle home, and each left their mark. The strongest of those links is that of the First Lord Inchcape, once the Chairman of P&O. Sir James Mackay would stand atop the castle and gaze out to sea, keeping an eye on his ships as they sailed past.
A stay in The Endeavour allows you to experience Glenapp like one of our former residents. Venture out onto the roof and make the most of the endless views of grounds, gardens, the untamed landscape surrounding the estate, and across the sea to Ireland.
Ultimate luxury
The apartment’s collection of palatial bedrooms and bathrooms are ideal for families or groups of friends to call home for a stay on the Scottish coast. The Endeavour features four individually designed bedrooms: The Elsie Mackay, The Poppy Wyndham, The Kintyre, and The Waverley. In each, you’ll find a super king size bed, which can also be set up as twin single beds, fresh flowers, and luxurious bathrobes and slippers.
All bedrooms and bathrooms boast stunning sea views, featuring roll top baths, walk in showers, as well as a few little luxuries and extravagant amenities.
Decadent dining
A stay in The Endeavour includes your very own private chef, who will be on hand to prepare your chosen dishes along with a changing selection of nibbles, snacks and fresh fruit. If you get peckish you will always find the kitchen stocked with an array of goodies, a selection of Suki Teas, Nespresso coffees, homemade chocolates, sweet treats and of course a selection of complimentary drinks.
You will also have a personal butler who will be on hand, discreetly, throughout your stay. They will be there to meet you on arrival, help arrange your activities and experiences, oversee all your dining desires, recommend your wines and anticipate everyone’s wishes. Your butler will ensure the best possible experience for you all during your stay.

In the press
Blimey there are a lot of rooms (and rooms off rooms). "There's a sauna," the youngest shouts from down the hall. “I've found a massage room," my partner says. It is like finding hidden compartments in a jewellery box. From the hall you are into a tech-free library with board games and puzzles, Enid Blyton annuals and coffee-table books; next there's a snug lounge with coombed ceilings and a gilded mirror that turns into a 65in smart TV. We lose the children to the Xbox and carry on.
