A Right Royal Coronation Celebration
Glenapp Castle is steeped with a fascinating history and aristocratic past, therefore it is only fitting that Glenapp should honour the King’s Coronation with a specially curated ‘Right Royal Coronation Celebration’ package at the hotel, fit for a king or queen.
From the 28th April to the 31st May, you can enjoy this special, celebratory package with two nights’ accommodation in one of the Castle’s luxurious castle bedrooms, and including with a delicious three course dinner each evening. Guests can choose to dine in the elegance of the Castle restaurant, or to visit the newly opened restaurant, The Azalea Glasshouse. Having originally been built in the late 1800s, The Azalea is an impressive and historical dining venue. Over 130 years old, The Victorian Mackenzie and Moncur Victorian Glasshouse is one of only a few remaining in Scotland, including a similar Glasshouse situated on the late Queen’s Balmoral Estate.
Sustainability is something very important to King Charles, and Glenapp Castle is also committed to sustainable tourism and the implementation of proactive measures to help protect and sustain the local, national, and global environment for future generations. To celebrate this and included into this ‘Right Royal’ package, you can take part in a private and bespoke “Tree Planting Ceremony” in the Castle’s estate, with a traditional Scottish piper and a photographer to capture the moment. Additionally, a special commemorative plaque will mark this tree with your personal details capturing your moment at Glenapp celebrating the Kings Coronation.
What’s more, for all bookings made, £25.00 per booking per night will be donated to King Charles’ only remaining charity, The Princes Trust in Scotland.

The Kings Coronation will be televised live at Glenapp on the day of the Coronation, with King Charles’ favourite drink of a ‘Gin Martini’ on offer – this is indeed a Right Royal Celebration for everyone to enjoy.

As King Charles is an avid painter, Glenapp Castle is offering guests the opportunity to take part in an art lesson with their in-house artist, Allan McNally.
