Private Dining at The Azalea

Private Dining

The delights of this unique space will create memories of a lifetime

The Azalea Glasshouse

Within the Glenapp grounds a few moments from the Castle is one of Scotland’s finest walled gardens dating back in its origins to 1832. Here sits our restored original Victorian McKenzie and Moncur Glasshouse which is one of only a few remaining in Scotland, including a similar Glasshouse situated in the Queens Balmoral Estate.

The transparent structure of the Azalea Glasshouse allows for a seamless transition from daytime to evening, with the beauty of the natural surroundings during daylight hours and a magical, cosy atmosphere by nightfall.

The unique architecture of the Glasshouse is truly visually stunning, so this will be an experience to remember.

The Bothy

Adjacent to the Glasshouse is our newly renovated former stone potting shed which has now become The Bothy.  With a twenty five foot high wall exhibiting art from a variety of local artists, it has also become another unique dining space.

The views to the West are to the gardens and Azalea pond and are truly “Monetesque” in their beauty.

Capacity

The versatility of these spaces offers so many combinations, from intimate dining in one of The Glasshouse compartments to larger gatherings of up to 100 people (when both areas are chosen exclusively), perfect for cocktail parties, private dining, weddings, drinks receptions and dancing under the stars.
