Hebridean Sea Safari

Rugged coastlines, spectacular scenery and wide open spaces.

A sea adventure like no other

The Hebrides await

Inspired by the classical African safari adventure, Glenapp’s Hebridean sea safari offers a dramatic tour of The Hebrides, home to wild seas, uninhabited islands, rugged landscapes and the chance to get close to some of Scotland's wildlife. Designed to bring the very best of a five-star castle hotel experience together with days and nights soaking up the Scottish island culture. Your voyage will include luxury glamping (with hot showers and proper toilets), coastal castles, pristine beaches, local produce cooked to perfection by your own private chef and of course a dram or two!

Wild island glamping

As you spend the day island hopping, enjoying unparalleled seascapes and breathtaking views, the Glenapp team will be busy preparing for the night ahead.

Hidden away inside your very own luxury tent, you’ll find ready-made beds, plush, inviting rugs, bright lamps, and hot water for that much-needed shower. Positioned in unique and remote locations throughout the archipelago, this is the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience prepared by Glenapp’s chef before a well-earned night’s sleep under the stars.

And the next morning, you’ll find breakfast already being prepared for when you wake up, and the skipper planning the next leg of your journey.

A taste of The Hebrides

Fresh island seafood plays a central part in our sea safari around The Hebrides. Our team will organise private picnics on uninhabited islands and late lunches at the three-hundred-year-old Boathouse - a beautiful restaurant set on the community-owned Island of Gigha overlooking the sea. Enjoy local lobster, delicious oysters, or sustainable, organic Gigha-farmed halibut. By mid-evening settle down for a rack of lamb or the freshest mackerel accompanied by delicacies prepared by your Glenapp chef, enjoyed under the stars with a chilled glass of Champagne.

Making memories

The Hebrides have an abundance of powder white beaches, remote castles, ancient archaeological sites, historic Christian monasteries and even exclusive, hidden golf courses, just waiting to be discovered. Your voyage will be completely tailored to what you and your party love doing, ensuring you experience the best Scotland has to offer and leave with long lasting memories. Simply let the crew know what you want to see and they’ll plan your itinerary accordingly.
