Fishing on the River Girvan
The Girvan River flows through Lochs Cornish, Skelloch and Bradan, Ayrshire’s major water supply reservoir, before making a broad sweep north close to the villages of Straiton and Kirkmichael and then South-West past Crosshill and Dailly to reach the sea at Girvan. The river boasts excellent salmon and trout with six miles available for Guest enjoyment. Our Ghillie Gordon has extensive knowledge in fishing and the history of the local area, making him the perfect person to accompany you on this wonderful experience.

Glendressiag Reservoir tucked away behind the hills of Girvan, with beautiful views gives Guests an opportunity to fish all year round. The reservoir is stocked fully with brown & rainbow trout and is suitable for those looking to try their hand at fly fishing. A perfectly peaceful location for Guests to spend a couple of hours casting a rod in the beautiful Ayrshire countryside.
