Our ground floor family suite, The Ballantrae and Kilantringan Suite, has two interconnecting bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom. This family suite is particularly suitable for parents with more than one child. The Ballantrae portion of the suite has excellent sea and garden views, and Knockdolian, the largest ground floor room which makes up the other half of the suite, has particularly lovely garden views from its windows.

Additional options for family friendly hotel accommodation at the castle include various suites in the East Wing. These hotel suites are especially popular for guests on longer stays at the castle, or for families with one older child or two smaller children. Each of these suites have very comfortable double sofa beds in the suite sitting room area.
