"The Glenapp Castle"
The seas around Ballantrae, one and a half miles from Glenapp Castle, are simply stunning. "The Glenapp Castle" is a fast 11-metre rib with covered seating for ten, including a range of hydraulic suspension seating, on board kitchen and WC facilities. The vessel allows for both long and short range trips in comfort.
The concierge team at Glenapp will arrange fishing trips in local waters, whale and bird watching around the Scottish Isles or a trip to the iconic Ailsa Craig for a hike, picnic or cocktails. The 1100 foot volcanic outcrop is home to 36,000 pairs of Gannets, razorbills, guillemots and many more incredible bird species. The surrounding water is home to herds of seals, basking sharks and even the occasional minke whale.
For our many golfers, quick transfers are available to a host of world-class courses. Click here for further course information and transfer times.
For groups of six or more, private itineraries can be planned. For the more adventurous, one day to one week bespoke charters can be arranged for travel through the Scottish Isles. Perhaps visit the distilleries of Islay, the music festivals of Jura or simply explore a rugged paradise.
This all-weather vessel, fully crewed, will guide you on your travels with all the traditional Glenapp service and attention to detail. The cost for charter per day is £1200 plus VAT.
